Pineapple Teriyaki Pork Skewers
Sticky-sweet glazed pork with caramelized pineapple straight off the grill.

A backyard party trick: pork tenderloin, fresh pineapple, and peppers glazed with a quick homemade teriyaki. Grilling caramelizes the pineapple into candy-like bites.

Ingredients
Teriyaki
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Skewers
- 1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1 1/4-inch cubes
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks

- 1 small red onion, cut into wedges

Grill over medium-high heat, turning every 3 minutes and basting with reserved sauce, until pork reaches 145°F (63°C), 10–12 minutes.
- 5.
Rest 3 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
Make It Special!
- Serve over coconut rice for a luau-style dinner.
- Swap pork for chicken thighs (cook to 165°F).
- Make ahead: marinate and thread skewers the morning of the party.
