Ingredients

Shells

  • 12 street-taco size (4-inch) flour tortillas
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 2 cups diced strawberries tossed with 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. 1.

Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Warm tortillas briefly in the microwave to make them pliable. Brush both sides with butter and dredge in cinnamon sugar.

  2. 2.

Turn a muffin tin upside down. Drape each tortilla between two cups to form a taco shape. Bake until crisp, 8–10 minutes. Cool completely on the tin.

  3. 3.

Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth. In another bowl, whip cream to stiff peaks and fold into the cream cheese mixture.

  4. 4.

Pipe or spoon filling into the shells. Top with strawberries and a sprinkle of graham crumbs. Serve within an hour.

Make It Special!

  • Set up a dessert-taco bar with berries, chocolate chips, and caramel sauce.
  • Stand the tacos in a loaf pan lined with cinnamon sugar for serving.
  • Make ahead: bake shells and make the filling a day early; assemble just before serving.
